12:32 am - Boring musical meme
What Your Music Says About You
1. Put your music player on shuffle.
2. Press forward for each question.
3. Use the song title as the answer to the question.

-------------

What does next year have in store for me?
Prince - If Eye Was The Man In Ur Life
Well that could mean anything really!

What's my love life like?
The Pretenders - If There Was A Man
Haha! What the hell is going on?

What do I say when life gets hard?
Thompson Twins - Hold Me Now
Ah, that's quite nice.

What song will I dance to at my wedding?
Venetian Snares - Look
Yeah. This track is actually white noise that looks like cats when seen in a spectrogram. Interesting wedding.

What do you want as a career?
Art Of Noise - Kiss (Feat. Tom Jones)
No I most certainly do not!

Famous last words?
Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble - Superstition (Live)
Hm... the writing's on the wall I suppose.

Your favourite saying?
The Cranberries - Ode To My Family
Rightyho.

Favourite place?
Cocteau Twins - Hitherto
Hitherto what?

What do you think of your parents?
Cyndi Lauper - Come On Home
Aww. They're already home though.

What's your Pornstar name?
Boards Of Canada - Wildlife Analysis
Haha, wildlife analysis... haha

Where would you go on a first date?
Billy Ray Martin - Your Loving Arms
Sounds ideal!

Drug of choice?
Blank & Jones - Secret Lies (Ambient Edit)
Must be a new designer drug or something. Actually this is a pretty track. *Listens*

Describe yourself:
Fantastic Plastic Machine - Bossa For Jackie (Dedicated to Mrs. Kennedy)
I don't know any Kennedys. Maybe I should. *Uses facebook search for Jackie Kennedy*
Whoa! Overwhelming hotness. I'm beginning to like this meme.

What is the thing I like doing most?
Massive Attack - I Am Home
Apt.

What is my state of mind like at the moment?
The Chemical Brothers - Galaxy Bounce
I've been thinking a lot about the universe and such recently, so that works.

How will I die?
Fragma - Toca's Miracle
I'll be fragged :/

04:38 pm - Thrips
Don't leave your monitor on when it's in the mid to late afternoon if it's a TFT LCD. Thrips (thunderbugs/thunderflies) are attracted to the warmth and crawl into the space behind the LCD and die, and don't ever leave. Turn it off if you see any crawling around the screen!

04:43 am - Music Time Capsule (attempt at making a meme?)
(The trouble with having music on computers is the fact it's always there, every tune for every memory, and there's so little reminiscence left now we have everything we know, right in front of us.)
Pick 5 tracks that mean something to you, put them in a rar or something (eg. NotToBeOpenedUntil17-06-2011.rar) and DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYTHING in there for at least... say... 5 years.
List your selections down below. Anybody that listens to these tracks before the date they specify owes me their house.

1. Plok - Plok's House
2. Plok - Akrillic
3. Deus Ex - Lebedev Airfield
4. Me & My - Dub-I-Dub
5. World Party - Give It All Away

12:54 am - New compilation.
Hey there. I made another electronic dance music compilation. It's 123 MB and contains what I've mostly been listening to (or rather, represents what I've been listening to) for the past few months. I gave each one a little genre thingy too just to make things easier - or more complicated. Or more COMPI-licated, har.

Listening tips:
Don't listen to music like this and expect something to leap out at you. This ain't indie rock - there are no choruses and the build-ups can last for ages. What it's brilliant at is providing a backdrop for an emotion. That's why it's dance music - the rhythm is basic, the tunes are easily accessible: it appeals to the most basic instinct in humans which gets us moving in time to things. So have fun.

<td align="center">Fun is most important in your life.

Having a high focus on fun indicates that you value your own enjoyment over anything else. And there is nothing wrong with that. Your motto is we're here for a good time - not a long time.

Well... not really... apparently I value 4 out of 6 the same. Which sorta makes sense. I wouldn't have put family so high up though, and I couldn't say why. Hm!
Well I think my application to study for a PGCE will have to be delayed until next year, since I was a bit sloowww and didn't send off my details quick enough. Still, this will let me take a break from the world of education and perhaps foray into the world of temporary work. Or the world of constant gaming. ;)
Doin' an essay, which explains the late time. I've done 1/3 of how much I need, and it's really boring. So erm... I'd better crack on. With the procrastination.

12:46 am - A subject.
Tricky, isn't it? When you're stuck in that hole where you know you could be spending your time more constructively, yet you don't have the energy to actually do anything contructive, so you just do tiny inane things like play solitaire just in case you get the urge to do something else.
Oh well, at least I theoretically have things I could do.

10:38 pm - I'm not that vulgar :(
Swiped shamelessly from my friend [info]purple_lily...
the Idiot Savant

(47% dark, 57% spontaneous, 52% vulgar)

your humor style:
VULGAR | SPONTANEOUS | LIGHT

You like things silly, immediate, and, above all, outrageous. Ixne on the subtle word play, more testicles on fire, please. People like you are the most likely to RECEIVE internet forwards--and also the most likely to save them in a special folder entitled 'HOLY SHIT'.

Because it's so easily appreciated, and often wacky and physical, your sense of humor never ceases to amuse your friends. Most realize that there's a sly intelligence and a knowing wink to your tastes. Your sense of humor could be called 'anti-pretentious'--but paradoxically enough, that indicates you're smarter than most.

PEOPLE LIKE YOU: Johnny Knoxville - Jimmy Kimmel

My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

12:48 pm - Freud! C'mere!
I just had a dream where I was standing outside a small restaurant with all these people for some reason, and inside the restuarant people were all watching this small TV on the wall, and for some reason I had my hi-fi remote control in my pocket, and I thought I wonder what would happen if I tried changing channels with it despite the fact it doesn't have TV controls, but I pressed a button and the TV blew up and all these little kids inside started crying and the manager came out and said 'you paying for that then' and I said oh yeah I'm really sorry, have a tenner and he said look it cost a lot more that, there's all the overheads like licensing or something and I woke myself up saying things like 'look mate how am I meant to expect a TV to blow up and then you charge all this money I'm not well off you know' and I have no idea what this all means
